I have decided to move all of the work on this particular accout back into my MAIN GALLERY (*
lillyinblack). Facing facts, I get a lot more traffic to that gallery and thus I will have a much better chance of people reading and helping me with my writing.
So please visit *
lillyinblack to continue reading the next installments of Journey into Wolfwood, and thanks for visiting!

Project:
Some of you may know me better as *
lillyinblack, though I am better known for my photography and traditional art rather than my poetry and prose. A lot of my writing revolves around journalism and essays, since I am still a high school student, and I do not have a lot of free time to express myself with fiction. However, I have launched a project that is a little more ambitious: a fantasy novel.
With this novel, I have better focus on the goals I need to achieve with plot and the continuation to a single story, which before I have lacked. This larger prospect will hopefully consist of 25 chapters or more, which will include illustrations and poetry, along with a new mythology. It is a bit of a challenge, but it shall be great fun, and with response from readers it will be a lot easier to push forward and complete this work.
Journey into Wolfwood is the story of an orphaned boy and the arcane world he is thrown into, as he grows older. He will meet strange people, creatures, and learn about a world completely apart from the one he grew up in, and that the wolf holds more control over his spirit then he truly thought. This novel will be geared to a reading audience of 12 and above (When I say 12 and up, it just means the writing style will be at that level, so it may be harder to read for younger kids.). There will be no graphic gore or sexual situations, just an emphasis on the magical world and the hardships the characters endure.
I want to thank you for stopping by and taking a look at this project. I really look forward to writing this novel and having a piece of writing that I am very proud of. If you have any questions or contributions, feel free to note me or this account, or leave a comment.

The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares?... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.
I'm waiting.
